The new Star Wars film will be called The Force Awakens
Star Wars The Force Awakens will be the 7th film in the epic sci-fi series and fans are holding their breath in suspended anticipation that the star wars name will be kept in tacked and remain in the sci-fi hall of fame.

The film will be set 30 years after Return of the Jedi and Star Wars fans can look forward to seeing Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher return in the new installment, but already some fans are not happy with the name and complaints that they wanted the film to have a more forceful title.
Star Wars Films were a Popular Flop
After The last three films being some what of a popularity flop fans have lost some of their affection for the Star Wars franchise after the introduction of such characters as Jar Jar Binks and Darth Maul, only adding insult to injury when combined with the weak story lines that didn’t hold up to the superior storytelling of Star Wars A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi which where the first three films in the six film series.
George Lucas Hangs up the Reins on Star Wars
With George Lucas handing the reins of the Star Wars films over to Disney, fans are anxious as to see what Disney can do with the newest installment of the Star Wars family.
Will Star Wars The Force Awakens be filled with action, suspense, inspiring characters and have a compelling love story or will the characters spontaneously burst out into song. Only time will tell when Star Wars The Force Awakens is released on 18 December 2015.
